WILDLIFE CLUB

Club chairman:    Motari Stephen

 

The club was started in the school in 2010 by the current patron, Mr. Kennedy Gekara. The first chairman of the club was Jonah Moenga.


Members joining the club pay a registration fee of 20/=, which is used to run the club activities. Presently, the club has 36 registered members.


The clubs seeks to educate the members of the public on the importance of environmental conservation. Some of the activities which have been lined up for next year (2012) include:


       o   Organising excursions to national parks


     o   Cleaning up of market centres


     o   Planting of trees within and without the school


     o   Hosting of symposia
